The campaign focuses on providing accessible resources and practical solutions to help residents and commuters stay safe while navigating the city. Key components of the initiative include the installation of water stations at transit stops, the development of shaded bus shelters to reduce heat exposure, and a mobile app that allows users to easily locate their nearest water station in real time.
Through a combination of public infrastructure improvements and digital tools, Stay Cool Nevada seeks to create a safer, more comfortable transit experience while promoting community awareness and resilience during periods of extreme heat.
